EMG is an examination method that enables the examination of the electrical potential of nerves and striated muscles.
In the first stage, nerve conduction study is performed with small electrical currents.
In the second stage, a needle is inserted into the muscles and the muscle activity is evaluated.
EMG used in the diagnosis and follow-up of nerve entrapment, radiculopathy, neuropathy, muscle diseases, nerve injuries.
