- EMG is an examination method that enables the examination of the electrical potential of nerves and striated muscles.
- In the first stage, nerve conduction study is performed with small electrical currents.
In the second stage, a needle is inserted into the muscles and the muscle activity is evaluated. - EMG used in the diagnosis and follow-up of nerve entrapment, radiculopathy, neuropathy, muscle diseases, nerve injuries.
